Review the materials the three pigs used to build their houses. Tell children that builders have to build houses and structures with materials that are available to them or materials they can get. Ask, What other materials could the pigs use to build a house?

Explain that sometimes the materials people use to build things with will depend on where they live in the world. Tell children that you are going to read a story about three pigs that live in a different place than the pigs from the book The Three Little Pigs.
