Download and print out the Family Connection Letter to send home with children.

Encourage children to share with family members what they learned today about measuring. You may wish to send the rulers home so children can measure things at home as well.

Finally, sing “Good-bye to You” with children.

Good-bye to You
(sung to the tune of “Happy Birthday”)
Good-bye to you,

Good-bye, friends and classmates,
Good-bye to you.

Together we played.
Together we learned,
