ELA Focus Skills: Active Viewing, Recall and Retell, Speaking and Listening, Vocabulary

Tell children they are going to watch a video clip about things that grow, called Between the Lions “Information Hen: Things That Grow.”

  • Talk about the different things that the pig grows and remind children that there are many kinds of seeds and plants.

Play the video a second time. Encourage children to announce what plant the pig grows each time.
