Tell children they are going to watch a video about words that begin with the letter 'k'.
Play the Between the Lions video clip “Word Morph: kiwi–kids–kitten–kite” through once without pausing.
Play it again and pause so the children can repeat the words after with the narrator.
- You may need to explain unfamiliar words such as kiwi or kayak.
- Ask children to name other words that begin with the letter 'k'.
