Tell children you are going to teach them a song about colors. Say,
- I am going to sing about my favorite color. When I am finished, I will tap the person next to me <Andre> and he will call out his favorite color. Then we will all sing about< Andre’s> favorite color.
- Explain that after they sing about a child's favorite color, then that child will tap the child next to him or her. Continue until all children have had a chance to sing about their favorite color.
