Skill Focus: Creative Expression, Recall and Retell, Fine Motor Skills, Vocabulary

Have children draw a picture of their favorite scene from Chicks and Salsa. Encourage them to tell you what is happening in their pictures and to point out and name any vegetables they have drawn. Help children write the names of the vegetables on their picture. Help children label their picture with their name.
