English Language Arts/Language 2: Participate actively in discussions, listen to the ideas of others, and ask and answer relevant questions.

Have children watch the video in pairs. Encourage children to ask questions to help them understand how the girl creates a waterfall and a river.

After viewing, ask questions such as,

How did the little girl make the leaves in the pool move?
How did she make a waterfall?
Where did the water flow after it came out of the pool?
What did she put into the stream of water on the sidewalk? What happened to them?
What would you like to put into a moving stream of water? What do you think would happen to it?
