Skill Focus: Active Viewing and Listening, Vocabulary

Invite children to watch “Making Things Float and Sink” independently. After they view, talk about what the children on the video discovered about floating and sinking. Ask, Did you know that would happen? Did anything surprise you? How did that surprise you?

Have each child draw a picture about the discoveries the children in the video made.
