Read aloud All the Water in the World or a favorite story or concept book about water that children have read in the unit. Have children find as many familiar words in the book as possible. Encourage children to make connections between the story/concept and their own explorations during the week. As they discuss the book, guide them to use the terms absorb, flow, sink, float, and evaporate whenever possible.
