Hold up an eyedropper for children to see. Ask them to describe what it is and how they have used it before. Ask, How does the water come out of the eyedropper? Have a volunteer demonstrate how to use the tool. As the water drips out, ask children, What do you notice about the water as it comes out of the eyedropper? Tell children that they will be using an eyedropper to explore more about water drops.
