ELA Focus Skills: Phonological Awareness (Rhythm, Rhyme), Vocabulary
Invite children to sing a song about how we wash and get clean. Sing “This Is the Way We Wash Our Faces.” Then invite children to sing along with you.
- Since the song again and have children add additional verses (This is the way we wash our hands/This is the way we wash our toes/This is the way we brush our teeth, etc.)
- Encourage children to sing the song when they wash their hands or wash objects in the water table.
