Remind children of and review the Color Card activity children did in Week 1 (Writing Center activity).

Tell children you are going to have them make another card to see if their favorite color has changed based on their explorations.

Help children write I Love Colors on the front cover, and then have them draw a picture using their favorite color(s).

On the inside, help children write My favorite color is                     . Ask children to draw something that is that color. Then compare the two color cards to see if they have more than one favorite color!
