Greeting Song: “Friend of Mine” #2
Have children sit together in a circle. Explain that you are going to sing the song “Friend of Mine” and you want them to join in.
Say, After we sing, I will roll the ball to someone in the circle. If I roll it to you I want you to say your name out loud. Then I want everyone else to say “<Child's name> is our friend!”
Practice one round. Continue around the circle and repeat the process until each child has had a turn.
