Sing Together: “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”
Educator Prep: Print out the Between the Lions “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” song chart or copy the words onto chart paper.
Tell children you are going to teach them the song Lola sings at the library. Ask children if they remember the song or if they know the song.
Remind them that Lola knows all the words and hand motions to “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” and that they will learn them, too.
Track the words as you sing the song slowly. For the second singing, do the hand motions as you sing. Then invite children to sing and do the motions with you.
