Tell children they are going to begin the day with “Where Is?” again.

Give each child a letter card. (first letter of their first name)

Tell children that when you hold up a name card you are going to say a child's name and then say the first letter of the name. Then you will sing the verse. Say, When you hear and see your name, hold up the letter card and shout your name. Then hand your letter back to me.

Demonstrate for children. Hold up a card and say, Paula, "P." Have that child stand, hold up her letter card, and shout Paula, "P!" Have children join you in singing to the child.
