Have children sit together in a circle and tell them you are going to sing “Who Are You?” to them.

Begin singing and after singing the second line, roll the ball to one child in the circle.

Say, When I roll the ball to you, say your name in a quiet whisper. Continue around the circle and repeat the process until each child has had a turn.

Go around the circle a second time and have children use a loud voice this time.

Who Are You?
(sung to the tune of “Row, Row, Row Your Boat”)
Who, who, who are you?
Say it loud and clear. (child says name)
Listen, listen, listen, listen,
Whose name do you hear? (children repeat name)
