Now tell children that you are going to watch a short video clip about the letter “Ss.” Give children a listening focus. Say, Look for the letter "s" in the words as you watch the video.
- Play the video clip Between the Lions “Word Morph: sun–salt–sock–soap” once without pausing.
- Repay the video and pause after each word. Ask, Did you see the "s" each time it appeared?
- Replay the video and have children call out "s" each time they see the letter.
