Skill Focus: Imaginative Play, Listening and Speaking, Vocabulary

Invite children to put on their own disappearing objects show. Demonstrate how to make things disappear (putting them behind their back, in their fist, etc.) Allow children practice time. Help them create a sign to announce the show. Help children make connections to the book Abiyoyo. Ask, How did the boy’s father make things disappear? Why? How did the father use his wand for good?
