Educator Prep: Before the activity place words that have the letter "m" around the room, for example, signs, books, name cards, etc.
Tell children that they will watch a short video clip about the letter “m.”
Play the video clip Between the Lions “Words Beginning with ‘m’.”
- Have children join you in “writing” the letter “Mm” in the air each time they see the letter appear on the screen.
After watching you may want to have children find words around the room that have the letter "m."
Adaptation: Groups with very young children may not be able to form the letter in the air, you may want to have children call out the letter as it appears on the screen.
