Reread one of the books of the week, re-watch the video Between the Lions “Violet’s Music,” or select a book from the recommended book list.

Focus on the voices, musical instruments, and music sounds and how they are made in the book or video. For example, for Violet’s Music, ask,

  • How did Violet make music when she was a baby in the crib?
  • What objects did she use to make music when she was in school?
