Skill Focus: Concepts of Print, Vocabulary

Have children make their own books about things that are loud and things that are quiet. Tell children to draw things that are quiet on one page and things that are loud on another page. Have children give their story a title. Help children write the title and their first and last names on the cover. Children will share their books with the class on Day 5. Display the books in the Library Center for children to read to one another.
