Skill Focus: Listening and Speaking
Demonstrate how to play the online game PEEP and the Big Wide World “Sounds Like Fun.” Show children how to click on the animals to hear the sounds they make. Repeat the instructions. Say, Click on the animal to make it start and stop. Ask, What sounds do the animals make? How can we make the animals’ sounds like music? Help children point and click on the animals. Challenge children to make patterns with animal sounds to make the sounds musical.
