As you sing, ask each child to show you something they can play with the instruments. Have children cheer for each other after they play.

Show Us Something You Can Do
Hello, <child’s name>. How are you?
Show us something you can do.
(child performs motion)

This is what <child’s name> can do.
We can all do it, too.
(children copy motion)

Social Emotional Tip: Ask children how they feel when they hear everyone cheering their name, and how it feels to cheer for their friends.
