Download and print out the Family Connection letter to send home with children.
You may want to give each child a letter “Uu” necklace made from construction paper and yarn. Tell children this will remind them to talk with their families about the letter they are learning this week.
Sing “Good-bye to You” as children depart.
Good-bye to You
(sung to the tune of “Happy Birthday”)
Good-bye to you,
Good-bye to you,
Good-bye, friends and classmates,
Good-bye to you.
Together we played.
Together we learned,
