Remind children that yesterday they looked for the letter “Uu” in their names.
Tell children that today they are going to watch a video and hear a song about many names that have the letter “Uu” and the letter sound /u/ in them.
- Encourage active viewing. Say, Listen carefully. Put your hand up if you hear the names of anyone in our group.
Play the video a second time. Encourage children to sing, clap, or move to the music and say any names they recognize.
