Tell children that you are going to teach them a song that will help them retell the story of The Three Little Pigs. Say,
- In the first verse, the first little pig builds a house out of straw.
- Then ask children to complete the following sentences:
In the second verse, the second little pig builds a house out of _________.
In the third verse, the third little pig builds a house out of _________. - Sing the first verse of the song. At the end, sing the chorus. Repeat with children.
- Sing the second and third verses with children, adding the chorus after each verse.
- Encourage children to sing and act out the song with friends in the Pretend and Play Center.
