Educator Prep: Prepare puppets by copying and cutting out images from a version of The Three Little Pigs. Tape a stick or other holder on the back.
Display the versions of the story for children to use as reference while retelling the story. Have children act out the story of The Three Little Pigs. Encourage them to act out the events in the order in which they happened. Be available to ask questions to help children retell the story in the correct sequence. If possible, video the performances so children can watch their own shows.
Adaptation: For groups with very young children who have difficulty recalling the events in the story, you may want to read a section of the story before children act out each event.
