This list gives you an overview of all the materials you will need throughout this 4-week unit, except for the materials used in the Learning Centers. (Those are indicated with each Learning Center.) Note that you will also find a list of specific materials needed for each week at the beginning of that week.

- containers of sand and other materials to fill gaps
- copies of the uppercase and lowercase letter “Uu” (one for each child)
- craft sticks (or plastic straws)

- dot-to-dot copies of the uppercase and lowercase letter “Bb,” “Dd,” “Rr” (one each per child)
- dot-to-dot copies of the word boat, up, water (one each per child)
- drawing materials: paper, crayons, markers
- float or sink objects (rubber bands, sponges, pencils, plastic bottles with tops, wooden blocks, plastic straws, craft sticks, small plastic toys, etc.)
- food trays (recycled, empty, clean)
