Word Play: Matching Game

Have children match cards that have the same word on them.

Letter Sort (“Yy”)

Spread magnetic letters on a cookie sheet and have children sort the letters by shape.

Sort Loud, Medium, and Quiet

Place pictures on a table. Have children sort the sounds the things in the pictures make into loud, medium, and quiet sounds.

Have children work in groups as they continue to explore outdoor plants and soil.
