“We brought sheets of colored acetate outdoors to explore in the sunlight. This was of huge interest to the kids. On later days, kids began holding two sheets of different-colored plastic together, looking at objects through green and orange glasses. Some of the kids were surprised that the colors of the plastic ‘mixed together’ just like the colored water and the paints.”
