Revisit the Color Card activity from Week 1 and help children make another Color Card.

Help children create and play castanets.

Play the Peep and the Big Wide World video “Making Rivers.” Help children gain an understanding of how the girl made a waterfall and a river.

Play the PEEP and the Big Wide World video “Making Things Float and Sink.” Have each child draw a picture about the discoveries the children in the video made.

Marble Painting

Have children roll marbles that are covered in paint inside a covered box to create a painting and observe how colors mix.

Matching Game

Have children match pictures of baby animals to the animals’ mothers.

Materials Sort

Have children place objects in the correct category: materials that are good for building a house and materials that are not good for building a house.

Math Chefs

Have children measure and cut specified numbers of clay fruit pieces to make a clay fruit salad.
